Introducing the ONE - the incredible first pedal from new company, Westerlund. An all-in-ONE Preamp, Overdrive and Boost that is designed as a high-end preamp for you instrument.
The buzz for this launch is richly deserved as founders Matt Stansberry, Shane Henry and Jim Robinson sought to deliver a gain pedal that would focus on players needs and stand the test of time. Bags of volume and gain when you push it, all without colouring your tone. This way, you can maintain a rich and dynamic sound without affecting your playing style.
The pedal features three key modes: Clipping Off (Amp Mode), Germanium Clipping and Silicon Clipping. As well as this, it contains a gain boost and a 3-band EQ with tonnes of headroom. The ONE really does it all - from clear transparency through to mega valve saturation. It is designed to be a tool to enhance your musical creativity and inspire your playing, all housed within a super premium package.
The Clipping Modes feature three unique FET based opamp gain stages and a FET tone recovery stage which makes for a truly authentic tube tone and response. The addition of the Tone Switch (switching between Bright and Dark) adds yet more versatility, with the Bright being the recommending setting for general use. Superb chewy tones with exceptional touch sensitivity, and when you engage with the Germanium mode you begin to enter the killer realms of fuzz!
On top of all this, the adjustable pre-gain boost couples with the drive to push you to that next level, all the way from a slight up in volume to full-on amp saturation and compression.
With artists such as Mark Lettieri, Joey Landreth, Vince Gill, Ryan Adams, Ariel Posen, Josh Smith and many more singing its praises, you know you can believe the hype. This is a truly killer pedal - as soon as we heard it we knew it had to be included the Peach roster!
