The Vemuram Las Lunas is a distortion pedal created to capture the drive tones of the late 1970s and early 1980s, the era that defined so many iconic guitar sounds. Developed over many years, it delivers a natural, organic distortion voice with exceptional flexibility thanks to its powerful 3 band passive EQ and dual distortion modes.
The Bass control offers a wide sweep to tailor the low end to your guitar and amp, addressing the common lack of low frequency response found in many distortion pedals. The Tone control shapes the overall brightness and warmth across a broad midcentred range, allowing you to define the pedal's core character. The Treble control adjusts only the upper high frequencies, letting you fine tune presence and bite without disrupting the mids or lows. Together, these three controls provide an unusually wide and musical range of shaping options, making Las Lunas easy to integrate into any rig.
A toggle switch selects between two distinct distortion styles. Dist A delivers a flat, detailed and warm drive sound, while Dist B offers a sharper, edgier and more full bodied distortion. Internal trimmers linked to each mode allow you to fine tune saturation and harmonic content, giving you even more control over how the pedal responds.
Las Lunas is designed for players who want to recreate the drive tones of that era or craft their own unique voice using a pedal that responds naturally, stacks well and adapts easily to different guitars, amps and effects.
