This dazzling pedal combines Brian Wampler's defining amp types of the 80s: American Boutique Distortion and British Overdrive. It's compact enough to fit on any pedal board and can turn your amp into a high-gain monster with ease. It's a versatile pedal and yet it has simple controls; each channel features a Level, Tone, and Gain knob with a Character switch and there is an additional switch so you can change which order the effects run in when they are both on.
The DS distortion channel is modelled after American boutique high-gain amps for those thick, smooth gain tones that are oozing with harmonics. The Character switch for this channel changes the brightness to add in that extra bit of clarity. The OD overdrive channel on the other hand is based on that iconic British crunch with percussive chugs and blooming harmonics, it's extremely expressive. The Character switch for this channel adjusts the gain profile.
This is a super diverse and versatile pedal that can produce anything from classic rock grit to face-melting extreme metal - it retains its musical clarity and full fatness throughout the sounds. Wampler really put in the extra effort to make this homage to 80s gain amps and it shows. Built in the USA with high quality components, it comes with a limited 5-year warranty.
