A truly stunning left-handed instrument, this Drop Top features the signature aesthetic of a gorgeous Flame Maple Top on Alder, finished in a high-gloss Tiger Eye Burst with binding. The sculpted "drop top" contour provides a smooth, comfortable surface for the picking arm.
The neck is Caramel Maple with a Rosewood fingerboard and a black headstock, featuring the slightly deeper Even-Taper +.030 back shape for a substantial yet fast feel. The entire playing surface features Anderson’s acclaimed 12-to-14 inch conical radius and Jumbo Stainless Steel frets, guaranteeing "silky smooth string bends and liquid smooth vibrato."
The H-S-S configuration is built for range: SC1 single-coils in the neck and middle provide quiet, expressive clean tones, while the powerful HC2+ humbucker in the bridge delivers hot, articulate lead power with rich mids. The 5-Way switching with the coil-splitter function allows the player to instantly access single-coil sounds from the bridge humbucker, offering total tonal control, all precisely intonated by the Buzz Feiten Tuning System.
