This seriously cool instrument was originally displayed at the 2026 NAMM show in Anaheim, California. During our first day at the show, we stopped by the Tom Anderson stand to catch up with our good friends and to film some content for our social media. Whilst at the show, our attention was instantly captured by one particular Angel model finished in Ultraviolet. After a few conversations, we were thrilled to secure this awesome guitar!
This special edition Tom Anderson Angel features a solid alder body paired with a highly figured quilted maple top. Together, the alder and maple deliver a balanced, full-bodied tone with strong mids and a clear, articulate top end. This particular piece of quilted maple is one of the most striking examples we have ever seen. Finished in high-gloss Ultraviolet Blue with a Purple Edge Burst, it looks incredible and really shows off the depth and figuring of the maple.
The Maple neck features an Even-Taper neck shape, which is extremely comfortable and easy to play. It feels great in your hands and allows you to play quick lead sections and huge chugging riffs! The Blackheart fingerboard is super dark in colour and contrasts beautifully against the vibrant body. It features a 25.5” scale length, 1 11/16” nut width, and 24 jumbo stainless steel frets. The neck also features a satin natural finish and a matching headstock finish.
This Angel features a set of Tom Anderson’s own pickups which are voiced to give you access to a wide range of usable tones. It features an H3 humbucker in the bridge position, and an H1 humbucker in the neck position. With a 5-way switch you have access to full humbucker tones, as well as single coil tones. This Angel also has high quality hardware across the board. You’ve got a set of locking tuners, and a vintage style tremolo. The all-black hardware gives this guitar a slick, stealthy vibe.
This is one of the coolest guitars displayed at this years NAMM show, don’t miss out!
