This Drop Top Classic is a visually and tonally magnificent guitar. It showcases a stunning Quilt Maple Top on Alder with comfortable Round Edges, all finished in a brilliant, high-gloss Deep Bora Bora Blue. It features a Pearl White pickguard, offering a more traditional look.
The neck is Caramel Maple and features the superb Even-Taper +.030 back shape, providing a comfortable, mid-sized feel that is consistent up the neck. The performance is elevated by the signature 12-to-14 inch conical radius fingerboard, outfitted with ultra-smooth Medium-Jumbo Stainless Steel frets for an effortless playing experience.
The H-S-S configuration - SC1 (neck), SC1 (middle), and HC2 (bridge) - is extremely versatile. The SC1s deliver quiet, vintage-flavoured chime, while the HC2 humbucker provides a perfect medium-output bridge tone with great warmth and clarity. The 5-Way switching with the coil-splitter gives the player a massive range of tones, from clean single-coil quack to saturated humbucker power, all flawlessly intonated by the Buzz Feiten Tuning System.
