Switchcraft set the standard for jack sockets, ever dependable and one of the most reliable sockets on the market.

Originally produced for the booming telephone industry until Leo Fender started using switchcraft jacks in his guitars and they have been the go to ever since.

the perfect upgrade for peace of mind, because of the differences between metric and imperial sizes sometimes holes need making a little bigger, if you're not confident doing this we always recommend taking your guitar to a competent tech for installation (or we'll install it for free when purchased with a guitar)

Mono Jack

This size is often used with a jack plate on the outside of a body (e.g. a Les Paul)

Long Thread

The long thread size is used when the jack is mounted through the body (like on an ES-335 or a lot of other hollow bodies)

Stereo

Most commonly used with active pickups so the 9V battery becomes disconnected when the guitar is unplugged to prolong life
