At the heart of this instrument lies a meticulously crafted Paulownia 2-piece body, renowned for its tonal superiority, feather-light weight, and poised playability.
The body is finished in a subtle gloss, exuding understated elegance. Complementing this is a Tortoise Shell pickguard, adding a touch of classic aesthetics. Suhr's commitment to ergonomics shines through with body contours designed for a snug fit against your arm, hand, and tummy, ensuring hours of comfortable playing.
Moving up the neck, you'll find a 3A Roasted Birdseye Maple neck with a satin finish. The neck profile is a nod to the 60's C Vintage Standard, offering a familiar feel that players adore. The fingerboard, also crafted from 3A Roasted Birdseye Maple, boasts a 9"-12" radius with rolled edges for smooth bends and comfortable chord transitions. The 22 stainless steel frets and Tusq nut contribute to impeccable intonation and durability.
Tuning stability is guaranteed with Suhr Locking Tuners, while the Gotoh 510 Tremolo with a steel block ensures reliable and expressive vibrato action. Tonally, this guitar is a powerhouse. The neck pickup is a V63 Single-Coil, offering lush, vintage-inspired tones. In the middle position, you'll find another V63 Single-Coil for that classic spanky sound. For added versatility, the bridge pickup is a DSV Humbucker, delivering searing leads and thick rhythms. Suhr's innovative SSCII (silent single-coil system) further enhances your sonic mastery.
