Pivotal moments in time that, in their own way, helped to shape what came next.

But what has all of this got to do with guitars though? Great question. Well, 1982 also marked another important moment in time, the reinvigoration and re-birth of the now legendary, Squier brand!

Founded as the V.C. Squier Company way back in 1890, Squier were an authority on string production, crafting strings for violins, guitars and banjos from their Battle Creek, Michigan property. In 1965, Fender took ownership and eventually halted production and put the brand on the back burner. That is until 1982!

Since then Squier have been consistently bringing price sensitive versions of classic Fender guitars to the mass market. Crafted in various factories across Asia, Squier captures the timeless design and tone of Fender without the made in the USA premium. They have an enviable product line and a range of designs exclusive to the Squier name, they are a real force to be reckoned with and they show no signs of slowing down!
