The Terror Bass amplifier has been reintroduced with significant enhancements, offering superior sound quality and performance. Equipped with a valve preamp and a powerful 500W Class D solid-state power amp, this updated model delivers a sound that closely resembles Orange's flagship AD200, providing deep, rich tones that are perfect for a wide range of music styles.
The new Terror Bass features a completely redesigned circuit while maintaining the familiar control layout from the original model. A key addition is the Clean switch, which reduces gain and smoothes the top-end, offering even greater tonal versatility. This allows users to easily switch between clean, bright tones and the classic gritty rock sound, making the amp suitable for a variety of musical genres.
The amplifier also includes a -6dB pad switch, making it compatible with both active and passive instruments. This ensures that players can achieve optimal sound quality regardless of their instrument type.
Designed with convenience and performance in mind, the Terror Bass uses a lightweight and efficient Class D power amp, delivering 500 watts into 4 Ohms and 250 watts into 8 Ohms. The amp is also equipped with a Balanced XLR output and a valve-driven FX Loop, making it a versatile choice for studio recording, rehearsals, and live performances.
