This is not just another Novo (if there is such a thing) - this exact guitar was played on tour by Scott McKeon with the legendary Tom Jones. From greenroom to stage lights, it's already earned its stripes. To hear it live, jump to the 3-minute mark of the embedded video.
The Novo Serus J Baritone in Uffington Burst is a masterclass in extended-range boutique guitar building. With a 28" scale length and a pair of Lollar Mini-Broilers, it delivers a powerful voice - warm, growly, and full of bite - perfect for baritone tuning with attitude.
The body is lightweight tempered pine, finished in a striking Uffington Burst with light distressing. Its tempered maple neck and East Indian rosewood fingerboard are fast, smooth and perfectly balanced, shaped in a Medium C carve (.830") and rolled into a compound 9.5"-14" radius. The jumbo Jescar frets (.110 x .057) let chords ring out and leads soar.
Hardware is rock solid - a Mastery M1 bridge and NV vibrato with Lightning Bolt arm keep pitch stable and movement expressive. A 3-ply black guard, Dumble-style knobs and Stringjoy 14-68s finish the job in style. It’s housed in a Novo Deluxe Padded Soft Case, stage-tested and ready for the next big gig.
