A standout in Hubers lineup, this guitar features a Spanish cedar one-piece body topped with a two-piece exceptional flame maple (Curly/Flame Maple from Eastern/Michigan), finished in a striking Faded Tobacco Burst that enhances the woods natural character. The Spanish cedar neck, carved to a fat back profile, is paired with an East Indian rosewood fingerboard featuring curly maple binding, an ebony headstock veneer, and crown trapezoid mother-of-pearl (MOP) inlays, providing a 25" scale length for a comfortable, vintage-inspired playing experience. Set up to perfection under Nik Hubers watchful eye before leaving the factory, this Orca '59 arrives ready to perform straight out of the box.
This Orca '59 is equipped with custom Set '59 Kloppmann Humbucker pickups, delivering a warm, robust tone with the classic depth and clarity of vintage humbuckers, perfect for blues, rock, and beyond. Controlled by 2 volume and 2 tone controls with a 3-way toggle switch, including a push/pull on the neck tone for coil tap, it offers versatile tonal options with a rich, organic voice. The Tune-o-matic with tailpiece ensures solid intonation and sustain, complemented by Gotoh Kluson-style tuners and nickel hardware for a period-correct look and feel.
