The RR104C Randy Rhoads MXR Special Edition Distortion+ is a faithful recreation of the pedal that helped define Randy's legendary tone. Developed in close collaboration with the Rhoads family, this model replicates the exact specifications of Randy's original Distortion+, as revealed from his personal pedalboard at the Musonia School of Music.
This special edition captures the raw, harmonic-rich distortion Randy used to push his high-gain amps into violin-like leads and saturated riffs. The MXR design team meticulously documented the original unit and worked with Kathy Rhoads to ensure tonal authenticity.
Inspired by Randy's iconic white Flying V with pinstripe accents, the pedal features a custom visual design and includes an exclusive collector's booklet detailing the story behind its creation.
