When Mesa Boogie turned their attention to amplifying acoustic sounds they did so with one distinct rule in mind, do not harm or damage the tone. Acoustic guitars are one of the most sincere instruments around and ruining the perfect through unnecessary enhancement just wasn't an option. The Rosette DI is an acoustic instrument direct interface that reproduces an accurate tone that will blow you away
Starting with the same front end and EQ circuitry used in the brilliant Boogie 300 Two:Eight Combo, built from high end components this no-compromise approach ensure the purest signal path and lowest noise specs while at the same time insuring a detailed, musically rich and unrivalled tone.
Both input gain and phase are addressed in the input control and phase switch. A wide range of high impedance pickups are handled easily thanks to the optimised current source-biased FET input stage. Phase relation can be addressed by flipping the phase switch on the Rosette DI to eliminate feedback and improve your tone. With a fully professional RQ Section incorporating Bass, treble and a pair of Mid range controls you can really craft your tone to your personal taste.
Other super awesome features include two additional sweep-able filters to assist with feedback elimination, those filters being a Notch Filter to cut chosen frequencies and a Hi Pass to cut out sub harmonic frequencies. A footswitchabe boost is as incorporated for increasing the level of certain aspects of your playing!
