The D-18 Satin is built to the same specifications as the standard D-18, but with a gorgeous satin finish on the top, back, and sides. The ageing toner on the top gives it a distinctive vintage look, and you can even get it in an Amberburst finish if you're looking for something a little more eye-catching.
Crafted with genuine mahogany back and sides, the D-18 Satin still delivers plenty of volume and projection, as well as bright trebles and punchy midrange tones. And the scalloped bracing pattern contributes to an even fuller, richer sound than you'll get with non-scalloped bracing.
Other features on the D-18 Satin include an ebony fingerboard with old style 18 inlays, a high-performance taper neck, and nickel open gear tuning machines. The bridge is made of ebony, and the saddle is compensated bone for optimal intonation.
And of course, the D-18 Satin comes with a hardshell case to keep it safe and protected on the road or in storage.
