Martin’s revolutionary SC body shape has become even more versatile. The SC 10E Spruce now joins the Road Series, delivering a fresh and highly playable acoustic electric design that’s ultra comfortable to play.
The Martin SC-10 begins with a solid Spruce top, which helps to give this guitar the iconic crisp and articulate tone we all know and love about the Martin SC series. Spruce is known for being lightweight and durable while offering a wide dynamic range, from soft fingerpicking to strong, percussive strumming. Combined with solid sapele back and sides, this pairing creates a balanced tone with a punchy midrange and bright, airy trebles. Whether playing solo or with a band, this guitar stands out in the mix while retaining warmth and depth.
The Low Profile Velocity Select Hardwood neck is super comfortable. It is shaped for your natural hand positioning, which makes the playing experience super easy and allows you to play with ease. Martin’s patented Sure Align neck system gives you unrestricted access to every fret, so you can play leads, chords, and high notes with ease. The FSC Richlite fingerboard features a 1 ¾” nut width, 28 style dot inlays, 20 frets, a 16” radius, and a 25.4” scale length.
Enclosed gear tuners ensure solid tuning stability, and with the Martin E1 electronics, this guitar is ready for anything. It even features a built in chromatic tuner, which lets you tune silently.
No matter your use for this guitar, it is certainly up to the challenge.
