A 50W re-issue inspired by the original models from the 1970's. Vintage tone is now available with modern benefits, including an effects loop and bypass switch. Similar in style to the 1959HW, the lower wattage 1987X breaks up earlier and at lower volumes.
- 50W driven by two EL34 valves.
- Choose the High Treble or Normal channel or blend the two together using a patch lead and two volume controls.
- On the back panel is an effects loop with bypass switch.

This 50W reissue plexi has been lovingly crafted to replicate the 70’s tone and aesthetics of the original. It’s unique tonal characteristics are what defined this all-valve amp and they have not changed in this reissue. The 1987X delivers the perfect balance of classic Marshall overdrive and glistening clean tones. An additional FX loop gives a modern twist to the amp.
