Similar in tone to the original late-'50s split-coil P-Bass pickups, Lollar's offer high-mids that cut through the mix. You get an open top end with plenty of note attack, presence and clarity, with defined sub- and low-end frequencies.

P-Bass pickups are considered 'split coils'. There are two separate coils wired together to function like one, as with a humbucker. They will be hum cancelling for that reason.

With P-Bass pickups, each coil sits beneath two strings (1st and 2nd for one and 3rd and 4th for the other).

The price is for one split-coil pickup, which is all a conventional P-Bass needs.
