Founded back in 2009 by long time PRS designer Joe Knaggs, Knaggs Guitars experienced team of world class luthiers craft guitars of the very highest standard.
The Chesapeake Severn T2 is an innovative and flawlessly designed solid body that delivers massively on tone and playability. This incredible guitar benefits from Joe Knaggs signature purfling method, by dividing the top into sections it allows different stains and finishes to be applied to the same piece of wood. The body is crafted from crisp Alder while the top is Curly Maple/Sapele which has been finished in the super vivid Fire Lam.
The Rock Maple neck features a Macassar Ebony fingerboard with diamond inlays and boasts an old school 6 in a line headstock. It’s smooth, beautifully finished and poised, with great access right up the neck this guitar is at home playing a wide range of styles. With Gotoh locking tuners and a Knaggs Chesapeake tremolo bridge, this guitar has great tuning stability and offers a playing experience unlike any other.
With a trio of Seymour Duncan pickups, a TB-4 JB Trembucker and a pair of ATX-K single coils, you get a smooth, articulate tone. The ATX-Ks are based on the Duncan Antiquity series and voiced specifically for Knaggs, they give you a little more midrange focus than a standard single coil. With unbelievable clarity and harmonic content this is a great pickup selection.
