How awesome is this? In typical KingTone style, it also includes a wealth of easily accessible options to make this one of the best fuzzes out there.
Another addition is a a switchable buffer, so that you can use the miniFuzz with long cable runs or multiple pedals with no tone degradation, or keep it as true bypass. KingTone have also added a tone control with four options for tweaking the texture of the fuzz - this will help the fuzz work for you. All the desirable tones are in there - bright and gritty, smooth and silky, violin-like sustain, broken Bender, modern glitches, huge riffs inspiration and more.
Carried across from the previous incarnations of the pedal are the options to boost the output or lift the bass response. Extensive successful effort went into making sure the pedal sounds great when using it plugged-in thanks to battery simulation technology! All you need is a standard 9v power supply to have this unit sounding great or just use battery; if you choose the later, the battery will last for ages, even if the pedal is left hooked up.
Talking of technology, the pedal also includes a patent-pending bias light to let you know when the fuzz is biased correctly... that's really cool!
In previous incarnations of the pedals, the Ge version was temperature sensitive - something that didn't apply to the Si version. However, KingTone have carefully selected the incredible MP10b transistor to pair perfectly with the Silicon BC183. This is identical sounding to the Ge transistor used in the old version but is extremely temperature resilient, so you can use it at hot summer shows with no problems!
Just another incredible pedal from KingTone - proving why they are in such high-demand.
