Now, in his honor, Jackson is proud to present the all-new Pro Series Signature Josh Smith Soloist SL7 ET.
This 7-string collaboration is designed to meet the demands of modern metal, with a 27" scale length that provides a wider sonic palette and can handle the extreme low tunings that Smith depends upon. The Soloist alder body is sleekly sculpted for ergonomic comfort, making it easy to play for long periods of time. The body has been paired with a graphite-reinforced through-body caramelized maple neck for enhanced stability and sustain, ensuring that the guitar can handle even the most aggressive playing styles.
The Pro Series Signature Josh Smith Soloist SL7 ET also features a 12"-16" compound radius ebony fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets, which allows for effortless playability across the entire neck. The heel-mount truss rod adjustment wheel makes it easy to make adjustments on the fly, while the Luminlay side-dots provide excellent visibility in low-light conditions.
