Working with Mark Lettieri from Snarky Puppy, Jackson Audio present the New Wave - a stereo analog chorus/vibrato with a league of flexibility and programmable presets, bringing with it many industry firsts.
Featuring a 100% analog modulation circuit based around real MN3007 bucket-brigade chips - running at 15V for that authentic replication of the best chorus units from the 80's - and utilising a digital microprocessor for precise control, 7 programmable presets, and MIDI capability, the New Wave brings together the best of both worlds in audio gear for guitar, bass, synths, and keys.
Users can easily adjust the Mix, Depth, Speed, Tone, Phase/Ratio, and Delay of the modulation through the dials, with the 7 presets of 70s, 80s, Rack, Vibrato, Rotary, Harmonic, and User Control accessible via the upper half of the Depth dial. Additionally, there are 5 digitally controlled LFO wave shapes of sine, triangle, square, and two custom custom harmonic shapes inspired by the ARP Solina keyboard.
Whilst normally True Bypass, if the MOD footswitch is held down, Bloom mode is activated for buffered bypass and the fading in and out of the effect when engaged. Tap Tempo and expression pedal capability are just a few more of the many features this pedal packs into such a small profile casing. A whole sea of choral possibilities awaits with the New Wave.
