The Ibanez JEM has been the mainstay of Steve Vai's sound for decades, with its distinctive looks, super low action and monster tone, it's easy to see why the original shred master himself loves these guitars so much.
The JEM 555 in White offers the total Vai experience! With a Basswood body, the JEM is super resonant and delivers rich tones and great sustain. With the signature Steve Vai Monkey Grip you have something to grab hold of when you shred to the extreme!
The Maple neck is exactly what Ibanez are known for, with its flat radius and thin profile you can shred for days. The Rosewood fingerboard is just amazing and features the signature Tree of Life inlay that makes the JEM so special.
Designed by DiMarzio the Evolution pickups deliver all the crushing, soaring Vai-esque tones you could ever want! These high gain pups have a great harmonic range but without the harsh top end, they are really well rounded and organic but still pack a killer punch. Complete with Edge locking tremolo unit, you can dive bomb all day without compromising on your tuning stability and intonation!
This guitar is used and does show some signs of use. With some light marking to the back and sides, and a few superficial scuffs, it is in good shape, cosmetically, tonally and playabilty wise.
