Hemstock Guitars Classic No.3 | Maple - Aged Lake Placid Blue - Used

Individually Matched Monty's Pickups - Gotoh 510 Trem & Locking Tuners - Contoured Heel w/Recessed Neck Plate

Hemstock Guitars is the brain child of Tom Hemstock. Having built and designed guitars for the last decade, he has now brought some of his favourites to life for others to enjoy.

Spending his formative years building guitars under the watchful eye of luthier Adrian Hardman (Vanquish guitars) and more recently working with bands including Bloc Party and Red Rum Club, Tom has drawn from feedback and refined classic designs to meet the demands of today's players producing a range of stunning instruments in Hemstock Guitars.

Please Note: This guitar is Pre-Owned but is in Very Good condition. Since this guitar was made, lacquer checking has occurred to the gloss finish on the headstock which we feel just adds to the vintage relic aesthetics of this guitar, although we would be remiss if we didn't mention that there is a small chip in the finish of headstock at the tip. Not only is this the very guitar that is proudly displayed on the Hemstock website but it is the first serial ever made of the Classic No.3! Description

The Hemstock Guitars Classic No.3 is a nod to the iconic S-Style guitar but coupled with a whole load of features that bring a classic design into the present, these guitars are not to be missed.

With a vintage style 'C' Neck profile and Evo Gold jumbo fretwire, this guitar is super comfortable to play. The 18:1 Gotoh 510 locking tuners provide a sleek look and smooth tuning, while the Classic No.3 also sports a 12" radius and a great low action as standard.

Loaded with a set of individually matched Monty's pickups, the Classic No.3 provides all the tones of some of the best S-Style guitars we've heard. The Classic No.3 features traditional 5-way wiring (bridge tone and Neck/middle tone) and an incredibly stable 6 screw bridge.

Aesthetically, all of the Hemstock Guitars we've seen are like a work of art, with relic work by Scott Cameron, who is quickly becoming regarded as a master at his craft, each finish is unique and treated as an individual, no cookie cutter templates on show here. As well as being tastefully aged, the body also features a contoured heel and recessed neck plate, a small but well thought out touch that takes the feel of these guitars to the next level. Finally the 6-screw Gotoh 510 bridge with compensated saddles allows for much better intonation over more traditional designs and a set of Schaller strap locks wraps up what is a great guitar.

Each Hemstock Guitar features one of the incredible Mono classic gig bags so you can trust the safety of your guitar while on the road and is Plek'd as standard to ensure the highest level of playability before going out into the world.
