Eastman SB55v
The Eastman SB55/v SB has clear and obvious inspiration but as ever, it's done the Eastman way! The relentless search for the perfect blend of tone, playability and vibe is an ever present with this model.

A cap-less one-piece Okoume mahogany solid body delivers a lightweight playing experience without sacrificing an ounce of tone. The Antique Varnish finish found on the SB55/v-SB brings the guitars visual and tonal beauty to the forefront. Eastman's Antique Varnish finish is smoother than lacquer, with the thinner layer of varnish from their violin shop allowing for a fuller, more wide-open resonant sound that gives these instruments a truly unique voice.
The one piece Mahogany neck boasts a rich Ebony fingerboard with a 12" radius, 22 Jescar FW47104-P frets and a 24.75" scale length. This neck is super comfortable to play, perfect for huge chugging riffs or lush lead playing.
The SB55/v-SB model feature a Lollar 50s Spec P90 in the bridge position. The lower output pickup produces a brighter and more defined tone with less distortion, creating room for more chordal articulation and playing subtleties to come through. This is perfect for players looking for a warm and growling sound that doesn't sacrifice the details.
Premium Faber hardware, including a compensated Faber bridge for perfect intonation, provides the incredibly functional playing experience every player looks to find. The SB55/v-SB feature a no-load tone pot that bypasses itself from the signal chain when set to 10. When set below 10, it acts as a standard tone pot.
