Black Stone Cherry are best known for their whiskey drenched, toe tappin' southern rock anthems. As frontman and lead guitarist, Chris Robertson needs a guitar that can deliver sweet soaring solos as well as being able to riff with the best of them. After relying on PRS guitars as his go to for many years, PRS stepped in and developed the PRS SE Chris Robertson Signature.
With versatility and power at the heart of this guitar it is really highly spec'd. Inspired by the PRS Singlecut, the Mahogany body is topped with a bevelled Flame Maple veneer top and finished in Kentucky Blue Burst, it looks every bit the ultimate driving rock guitar.
The 24.5" scale, 22 fret, Wide Fat Profile Mahogany neck rocks a sweet Rosewood fingerboard and has a great vintage feel, perfect for big riffs and lush leads lines. A US PRS 57/08 humbucker at the bridge delivers those rich, deep tones while an SE Soapbar at the neck delivers a bit of tonal variation, it's great for blues infused lead and adds some nice texture to your sound.
