The Les Paul Classic 2017 T is inspired by the great Les Pauls of the '60s and '70s, and by adding features desired by the modern player they have created a real contemporary classic.
A Grade-A plain maple top on a mahogany back finished with a beautiful Gold Top gives the true Classic look and sound. Coupled with the historic 9-hole weight relief, this guitar is light weight and super resonant.
The solid mahogany neck has a fast and ergonomic slim-taper profile and a thicker Rosewood fingerboard for greater sonic depth. 22 Super-smooth polished frets and rolled cream binding make this a really comfortable guitar and the nylon nut is historic and operates with great precision. A nickel wired ABR bridge and aluminium stop bar enhance the vintage look and increases sustain.
Authentic Gibson tones come courtesy of Zebra '57 Classic humbuckers with handwired Orange Drop capacitors. Wired as it was historically, the 2017 Gibson Les Paul Classic T has great sonic depth and those old school PAF inspired tones we all love.
It's an elegant powerhouse well deserving of the Les Paul name.
