This one is serial number 151 - It's another killer Collectors Choice Les Paul, in a very unique Sunburst, which you don't often see on many bursts.
Gibson class this one as a 'plain' maple top but it's far from plain if you ask me!
The Collector's Choice #29 Tamio Okuda 1959 Les Paul brings you a stunning re-creation of the prized guitar in a noted Japanese star's collection. Close analysis of the original instrument has enabled details such as the light figuring of the guitar's plain maple top, its distinctive dish carve, the neck profile, a historic truss-rod assembly with no tubing, and its gently faded Sunburst finish (available in hand-aged and VOS renditions) to all be accurately reproduced. Add Tamio's choice of 57 Classic humbuckers and Bumblebee tone caps and CC#29 is primed to sound as superb as it looks and feels.
