This is a tribute for Les Pauls the way they used to make them in the 50's, featuring a solid mahogany body with grained texture and modern weight relief, a satin finish maple top, a lovely mahogany neck with the 50's profile, and a rosewood fingerboard.
The High Performance range now comes with a new "fast-access" heel, so for all of you who need to do some serious bends and noodling on some high notes you've got nothing to worry about here! Combine that with the slim taper neck profile and the new soloist neck width, this is one of the fastest playing Les Pauls out there.
Loaded with a 490R neck humbucker and a 498T bridge humbucker, also featuring Titanium bridge saddles and Gibson's amazing next generation G-Force tuning system! 2016 models come fitted with a titanium adjustable zero fret nut, instead of the brass nut that came with 2015 models.
