In honour of our Fender Custom Shop event, we bring you a series of incredible Masterdesign guitars fresh from Corona!
The Fender Stratocaster is probably the most iconic guitar ever produced and the Fender Custom Shop MD Mod rock Stratocaster is a John Cruz designed beauty! The Roasted Alder body is finished in a delicious NOS Bright Silver/Blue Metallic. The body is chambered and as a result its super light but still exceptionally well balanced. The NOS finish gives the appearance of a New Old Stock guitar, one that has been perfectly preserved and doesn't feature any kind of ageing or relic work.
The AAA Roasted Flame Maple neck is a real treat. With a 12" radius, 21 frets and a large C profile it is super smooth underhand and offers a great base at both ends of the fingerboard. This beaut rocks a matching headstock for a really unique and vibrant aesthetic.
The defining feature of the Mod Rock Strat is the pickup selection, with a pair of John Cruz signature single coils in the neck and middle positions, this Strat boasts a hand wound Tele Broadcaster at the bridge. This gives a real individual vibe and sound, its like the perfect hybrid of Strat and Tele!
