WAYS TO PAY:
Hand picked by us during a recent trip to the Fender Custom Shop facility in Corona, California. There were 3 UK dealers on this trip and as we entered the Custom Shop conference room to pick the stock we wanted, it soon became clear that we all wanted the same guitars! However, most of the guitars on display were one-offs, so the fairest way was to have our names picked from a hat, to see who would "win" the chance to purchase the guitar. The luck was with me that day, we snagged 11 out of 14 guitars!
Absolutely superb Fender Custom Shop Telecaster, made by masterbuilder Yuri Shishkov.
This guitar is based around a 50's model, so it has an Ash body and a quarter sawn maple neck.
It has a large C neck shape measuring .875" at the 1st fret and .950" at the 12th
Radius is 9.5" and the frets are Sanko 6105 Medium Jumbo
Pickups are 50's Tele pickups, which have just the right amount of twang and bass response.
The finish is of course Nitro Lacquer and it has a very lightly aged relic finish.
