The Fender Custom Shop do some pretty special things and this is certainly one of them! A fresh take on an old classic, this Fender Custom Shop Artisan Tele is a real head turner.
The Roasted Alder body boasts a striking Spalted Maple top, it has a really intricate pattern and bold grain, it's a radical move for Fender but the result is simply stunning. It's functional art, crafted by the very best, both visually and sonically incredible. This gorgeous piece of wood has a thin nitro lacquer over urethane finish, this ensures that this exotic tonewood combination is super resonant and not stifled. The Gold anodized aluminium pickguard looks great and adds a real touch of luxury to this premium piece.
A majestic 1-piece medium roast AAA Birds Eye Maple neck is topped with an African Blackwood fingerboard to make this guitar one massive tone wood dream. With a comfortable '63 C profile and a 9.5"-12" compound radius fingerboard it's perfectly suited to heavy chord work and rip roaring solos.
A pair of handwound Custom Shop '58 single coil telecaster pickups delivers authentic vintage style tone, that distinctive Tele twang is here in spades. It's a tone worthy of a guitar of this spec.
