The Fender Stratocaster is probably the most iconic guitar ever produced and the Fender Custom Shop '60 Stratocaster relic in Surf Green is a fitting addition to this legendary line.
Traditional '60s spec Alder body is finished in a cracking Surf Green Relic finish. Authentically aged, this finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. The thin nitro finish also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively.
The Maple neck has a smooth finish and an AAA grade Rosewood fingerboard. With a 9.5" radius and medium jumbo frets, the '60 Custom Shop Stratocaster can handle anything you throw at it without even breaking a sweat. It's supremely comfortable and well balanced. The 60s style oval C profile and rolled fret edges take this into another realm of comfort.
With a trio of Fender Custom Shop pickups it delivers all the sweeping, versatile tones you would expect from a Strat. A '69 Strat at the neck is teamed with a Fat '50s in the middle and a Texas Special at the bridge. Rich and smooth, it's a premium Stratocaster vibe with a precise tone that still retains its super clarity when you crank up the gain.
