1959 was a great year for guitars and in some ways it represents the pinnacle of guitar design and manufacture. '59 is remembered as a really strong year for Fender and with the Fender Custom Shop '59 Telecaster in NOS Olympic White, the Custom Shop have really embraced the true spirit of those great guitars.
A super resonant Alder body is finished in Fenders NOS Olympic White, a classic look that is perfectly complemented by the crisp Rosewood fingerboard on a tinted satin Maple Neck. With a '65 C shape neck profile and a 9.5" radius, it's a real easy player and is perfectly balanced.
With the Telecaster design being considered by many to be the original workhorse guitar, the Custom Shop '59 Telecaster needs a pickup pairing that can deliver the classic Tele' twang. With a Twisted Tele at the neck and a Hot Nocaster at the bridge this powerhouse Tele benefits from a 4 way selector switch for added tonal flexibility.
