Collings are fast becoming one of our favourite brands here at Peach, their build quality and attention to detail is remarkable.
This is another fine example of their work, a classic semi-hollow guitar in the style of a 335.
A very versatile instrument and incredibly articulate too, it features some cleverly engineered build techniques designed to make the guitar respond acoustically in harmony with the electrics.
This model features a select maple body and inset centre block, also made of Maple. It sports a solid Mahogany neck topped with a Rosewood fingerboard. This is 22 fret guitar, and the neck joins the body at the 19th fret, the neck is a medium frat 'C' profile. Mother of pearl inlays and silver hardware finish of the aesthetics and the guitar is loaded with dual Lollar low-wind imperial humbuckers tied together with vintage 50's wiring scheme.
This looks as good as it sounds finished in Faded Cherry with a Nitrocellulose lacquer finish, and of course comes with a deluxe hardcase.
