We handpicked this gorgeous guitar at a recent Taylor event and when we laid our eyes on it for the first time and noticed that it was specced out by Andy Powers, we know we had to have it!
For those that don't know, Andy has redesigned several of the Taylor ranges, most notably the 6 and 8 series, both of which have received critical acclaim. Andy has really revolutionised Taylor as a company and their guitars sound better than ever!
Andy specced this one with some sweet tweaks from the 8 series range including the addition of hide glue, this definitely helps add some vintage mojo to it's Three dimensional dynamic tone.
The guitar is specced with some premium tone woods, including a gorgeous "bearclaw spruce" top and Honduran rosewood back and sides. Both of which are just amazing feats of nature. This isn't just a pretty piece to hang on the wall, it's also one of the nicest Taylors we've ever had the pleasure of playing and listening too. It has such a massive dynamic range, with the utmost clarity accross all frequency ranges.
Loaded with ES2 pickup system and comes with a beautiful Taylor hard case.
