Meticulously crafted from quality woods of the highest calibre, the Builder's Edition 652ce brings the Taylor 12-String into the BE range, making for a more premium 12-String experience than ever before.
The back & sides are a solid Big Leaf Maple, voiced with personal touches from CEO & Head Designer Andy Powers, it is topped with a solid Torrified Spruce. The torrified process involves baking the soundboard to enhance the tone and replicate a rich, aged-in sound. Together with the natural vibrancy of the premium quality maple, it creates a beautiful clean tone and thanks to the smaller Grand Concert sized body, it really sparkles.
Also featuring Taylor's propietary V-Class bracing, the guitar sustains incredibly and maintains intonation anywhere on the fretboard.
This Grand Concert body also features an arm rest to ensure extra comfort, as your picking hand won't put too much pressure on the body while you're playing. This, along with rolled edges, a bevelled cutaway and Taylor's Silent Satin finish all come together in what is an expertly thought-out and supremely sleek design.
The guitar is fitted with Taylor's ES2 Expression System which is discreetly installed and sounds fantastic, capturing the guitars dynamic properties by utilising a breakthrough behind-the-saddle design.
Every aspect has been researched and tested as much as possible in order to deliver not only the best build quality with the finest materials, but also the best possible tone. It is both punchy, clear and shimmering,with plenty of volume, but also warm and responsive, thanks to the torrified top and V-Class bracing. Truly a world class 12-String guitar!
