Patrick James Eggle is very much the modern day hero of British guitar design. In addition to being the man behind Faith acoustics and the recently revived Shergold brand, Eggle is best known for crafting boutique guitars of the very highest order. This Saluda is one of the two very final acoustic guitars he will be building, and we have managed to grab both of them!
With a Sitka Spruce top, this Saluda features a Myrtlewood back and sides, with some incredible detailing on show, this is a real statement piece. The Florentine cutaway offers great access up the neck gives this guitar a real premium feel. With a black pearl strip rosette and a PJE pin less Ebony bridge, its Pats own innovative take on classic acoustic construction.
The Mahogany neck boasts an Ebony fingerboard for a smooth and slick playing experience. This Saluda features Celtic inspired inlays for a really unique vibe, they perfectly complement the appearance of this guitar.
Loaded with a K&K pickup, you are always ready to hit the stage. With stunning aesthetics, flawless playability and unrivalled tonal quality, this Saluda is a marker for other guitar manufacturers to learn from.
Guitars like this are the reason that Patrick James Eggle is so highly respected, a true modern day master.
