His latest project, Waterloo Guitars, is an authentic take on the vintage guitars of the great depression era. By taking design techniques and inspiration from the old '30's flattops, he has released a line of guitars that captures the essence of the era in a guitar that plays beautifully. The WL-14X is the flagship model in the range.
With a crisp Solid Spruce top on a lush Mahogany back and sides, the Waterloo WL-14X delivers depth, warmth and tonal clarity. It completely captures the husky, whiskey soaked tones of 1930's America. Its semi-gloss nitro finish lets the wood breathe and resonate for a truly authentic tone.
A Mahogany neck boasts an Indian Rosewood fingerboard with a prominent V profile and 24 7/8" scale length. Supremely comfortable underhand, it's an absolute joy to play, beautifully well balanced and incredibly high quality.
