The Atkin D37 is a stunning take on one of the most popular steel string acoustic guitar designs of all time, the dreadnought. Handcrafted in Kent, the Essential D is Alister Atkin's vision of the classic dreadnought design.
With a torrified Sitka Spruce top, on East Indian Rosewood back and sides, it gives a really full and focused sound with great dynamics and super response. The Mahogany neck features an Ebony fingerboard, perfectly comfortable with either intricate picking or brash strumming; the D37 offers superb projection and a rich full tone. The lacquer checking on this guitar is incredible, authentically vintage. Complete with Fishman Matrix pickup system, this guitar is always ready to perform!
