The annual Winter NAMM show is one of the real highlights in the guitar industry calendar; it's a chance for all the big brands to showcase their latest releases for the year ahead. For 2019 Orange have announced something pretty exciting!
The Orange Tremlord 30 is a very British take on classic 1950's amp construction. With 30 watts of power in a 1x12" combo, the Tremlord features two footswitchable valve driven tremolo speeds a two spring reverb tank. Unlike other Orange combos, the Tremlord boasts a custom designed Lavoce speaker that delivers more headroom and a smoother top end, it's a real vintage inspired voice.
The EL84 output valves ensure that unique British tone, but this is more than just an old school style combo. The Tremlord rocks a bedroom to headroom switch which allows you to drop down to 1 or 2 watts without compromising on the spring response or tone that can typically get lost with other attenuators, it makes this amp perfect for home, stage and studio, a real versatile workhorse.
Orange delve pretty deep into their rich history here, and the Tremlord promises to be a real highlight in the Orange 2019 catalogue.
