Crafted for musicians who seek clarity, balance, and volume, the F-40 Standard boasts a jumbo-sized body with a solid Sitka Spruce top and solid African Mahogany back and sides. Guild's forward-shifted scalloped Adirondack bracing enhances power, nuance, and responsiveness, resulting in a punchy tone with a smooth top end. Honouring its predecessor, the rare F-48 Navarre, the F-40 Standard retains vintage charm with timeless appointments such as a tortoiseshell celluloid pickguard, white ABS binding, and Guild's iconic peak logo inlay on the headstock. The comfortable C-profile Mahogany neck features an Indian Rosewood fingerboard, while premium components like an Indian Rosewood bridge, 20:1 open-gear tuners, and a hand-cut bone nut and saddle contribute to the guitar's exceptional playability and tone.
