The D-20 is an iconic dreadnought from Guild, built with all-solid mahogany for a beautiful tone. Guild's USA range always sound and look fantastic and it's clear to see why they are now iconic guitars in their own right. This model first came into the Guild catalogue in the late 60s. The satin nitrocellulose finish on this guitar not only looks beautiful but allows the guitar to vibrate freely. This is a great dreadnought that offers the power of a bigger body but with the mellowness and mid-range charm that an all-mahogany guitar gives.
The nut width on this guitar is 43mm and the neck is a C-shape, offering a very comfortable feel for most players - not too big and not too small. The saddle and nut are made of bone which allow excellent energy transference between the strings and the wood and the guitar comes complete with a deluxe humidified wooden hard case.
