Description

This is a really special guitar and tribute to the one and only Bob Marley.  Bob wrote songs at home in Jamaica on his Guild Madeira and this guitar is a tribute to it but with a few modern updates.

The top wood is solid spruce which steers the guitar away from the thinner sound that sometimes comes with a laminated top.  Mahogany is used for the back and sides; this is an excellent partner for the spruce as the two work beautifully together for a well-balanced tonal spectrum.  The nut width on this guitar is 44.5mm and the neck is a C-shape, offering a very comfortable feel for most players - not too big and not too small. The saddle and nut are made of bone which allow excellent energy transference between the strings and the wood.

Respecting Bob's love for the earth, the guitar comes with a case that is made from recycled nylon and one tree is planted for every one of the guitars that is made.  Some other really unique features are an included booklet with history and stories from Bob's family, details on the story of this guitar, a poster, a chord chart and custom picks.
