The Gretsch Limited Edition Falcon Centre Block Jr. is a premium semi-hollow electric guitar that delivers classic Falcon style in a more compact and comfortable body size. Designed for players who demand both high performance and visual elegance, this model is built with a quilted maple top and mahogany back and sides, offering a balanced tonal profile with strong sustain, warmth, and articulation. The smaller body makes it easier to handle during long playing sessions while still maintaining a full, rich sound.
At the core of the Falcon Jr. is Gretsch's redesigned Channel Core centre block, combining maple and spruce for a lighter weight and improved tonal response. This construction enhances midrange clarity and provides a quicker attack, making it ideal for players seeking definition and punch in their sound. The semi-hollow design also helps reduce feedback at high volumes, making it a suitable choice for stage and studio use.
The 24.6" scale length mahogany neck has a comfortable "U" profile and is paired with a 12"-radius ebony fingerboard featuring 22 medium jumbo frets. The Mother of Pearl Neo-Classic thumbnail inlays add a touch of elegance, while Luminlay side dots ensure fingerboard visibility on dimly lit stages. Tuning stability and playability are further enhanced by a 1.6875" Graph Tech TUSQ XL nut and Grover Imperial locking tuners.
Electronics include a TV Jones TV Classic pickup in the neck and a TV Classic Plus in the bridge. These Filter'Tron-style pickups deliver a tight low end, clear highs, and a touch of growl in the mids - perfect for anything from rock and blues to country and jazz. A string-thru Bigsby B3GP vibrato tailpiece, paired with an Adjusto-Matic bridge on a pinned ebony base, adds expressive pitch control while maintaining solid tuning and sustain.
