With a lightweight Mahogany body, this Les Paul benefits from an understated Flame Maple top. It's rich and super resonant and offers premium tone and timeless aesthetics. Goldie is famous for its iconic golden colour and faded back, both of which caused by years of light exposure. Our friends at Gibson Custom have painstakingly re-created this process alongside carefully hand ageing the instrument to ensure this guitar is as authentic as physically possible.
The 1 piece Mahogany neck is topped with a crisp Rosewood fingerboard with classic Gibson Trapezoid inlays, this guitar looks every bit the real deal. The period correct Tune-O-Matic bridge and stop tailpiece offer an authentic vintage vibe.
The defining feature of the Gibson Custom '59 Les Paul is the custom wound Gibson BurstBucker pickups. According to Gibson these are some of the most historically accurate PAF clones on the market, with an ultra-rich harmonic quality; it's as close as you can get to the classic Les Paul tone.
