As with all guitars sold online through our website or mobile app, this guitar will receive a complimentary full setup by our in house team of luthiers. Our team are highly skilled and can accommodate any special requests, so if you’d like something specific, just drop us a call or an email.
This Les Paul Custom starts out with a traditional solid Mahogany body, paired up with a 3A Flame Maple top. This tonewood pairing is so iconic and plays a big part in delivering the classic Les Paul tones we all know and love. One of the most eye-catching features of this guitar is the Tobacco Burst nitrocellulose lacquer, which looks and feels super premium. Gibson have been using Nitrocellulose lacquer since the early 1900s, it’s a big reason why Gibson instruments have incredible resonance and response due to the thin nature of the finish. Tobacco Burst is such a great colour option and really helps to bring out the beautiful figuring within this guitars Maple top.
The one-piece Mahogany neck features a ’68 Medium C neck shape, which is designed to replicate the overall feel of Les Pauls that left the factory back in 1968. It’s a comfortable neck shape, it fills the hand in a nice way, but never feels too big or bulky. Much like traditional Les Paul Customs, this guitar features a dark Ebony fingerboard. However one unique feature is the inclusion of Super 400 inlays, which add a unique visual flair to the overall aesthetics.
With a pair of Unpotted Custom Bucker pickups, this guitar delivers all of classic Les Paul tones that we know and love. They’re super thick sounding and work great for high gain tones, clean tones, and everything in between. They’re super dynamic and really responsive, so you’ll have a great time playing through them. Another key feature of this guitar is the TP-6 tailpiece, which is the same sort of hardware you have seen on Gibson guitars from the 1970s, it’s a cool extra detail and really helps to make this guitar unique.
If you’re looking for a really cool 70s inspired Gibson guitar then you should definitely check this one out
