Gibson J-45 60s Original | Ebony

The Gibson J-45 60s Original Ebony acoustic guitar offers players a classic round-shoulder design with specifications reminiscent of the 1960s. The guitar's responsiveness allows it to adapt to various playing styles, from powerful strumming to more delicate fingerpicking.  The mahogany neck features a period-correct 1 11/16" nut width (42.84mm), providing comfortable playability across the fretboard.  The adjustable saddle allows players to customise the string action to their preference. The guitar's construction consists of a Sitka spruce top and mahogany back and sides, contributing to its balanced tone. Traditional hand-scalloped X-bracing further enhances the resonance and projection of the instrument. The J-45 60s Original Ebony is finished with a gloss nitrocellulose lacquer and features double antiqued binding on the top and single-ply binding on the back.  Other aesthetic appointments include Grover strap cream button tuners and a white pickguard with a hot stamp logo. The rosewood fingerboard has a 12-inch radius and mother-of-pearl dot inlays.  The guitar has a 24.75-inch scale length and 20 standard frets.  A bone nut and Tusq saddle contribute to the instrument's clear tone. The traditional belly-up bridge is adjustable.  The guitar comes with a hardshell case and Gibson accessory kit.
