Discover the legendary sound of this Gibson 1960 Hummingbird Fixed Bridge, crafted in 2023 at Gibsons Bozeman, Montana factory. A faithful reissue of the 1960 Hummingbird, this guitar features a square-shoulder dreadnought body with a thermally aged Sitka spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides, delivering a warm, rich tone with exceptional clarity and projection. The Heritage Cherry Sunburst nitrocellulose finish highlights the spruces grain with a classic sunburst pattern, complemented by multi-ply binding and a double-ring rosette for a timeless aesthetic. In excellent condition apart from a ding on the top, this guitar also has an added strap button on the heel, a practical modification for gigging players.
The round-profile mahogany neck is paired with a rosewood fingerboard, offering a 12" radius, 20 standard frets, and a 24.75" scale length, with split parallelogram inlays adding a touch of vintage elegance. The fixed rosewood bridge enhances tonal clarity and sustain, while the bone nut and saddle, along with open-back tuning keys, ensure tuning stability and resonance. Professionally set up by our expert luthiers at Peach Guitars, its ready to perform straight out of its original hardshell case.
