This latest collaboration between Fender and the Square Enix team has spawned the limited edition Final Fantasy XIV Stratocaster, aimed to capture the originality, style and excitement of one of the world's most popular online role-playing games. Crafted by Fender Japan, you can expect exceptional quality.
This incredibly unique Stratocaster is crafted from a traditional Alder body dressed in an all black that features translucent sections of both blue and purple crystals designed to mirror Crystals of Darkness and Light, key thematic elements of the game.
With a bolt on Maple neck this guitar has a super snappy and bright tone, just like every good Stratocaster should have. It is incredibly comfortable and easy to navigate thanks to the Modern "C" neck profile which fits comfortably in the hands of all players. The Rosewood fingerboard is adorned with a 9.5" radius, narrow tall frets, 42mm nut width and of course the awesome "Meteor" inlay on the 12th fret.
A trio of V-Mod single coils offer warm and touch sensitive tones while a "Limited Break" (a special ability used in Final Fantasy XIV) switch takes the form of a push-push tone pot that puts the bridge and middle pickups in series for beefier sounds. With premium hardware across the board the Final Fantasy XIV Sratocaster holds its own with the very best.
The Final Fantasy XIV Stratocaster is highlighted with some super cool special features, a custom 12th fret inlay, numbered neck plate decorated with the Final Fantasy XIV logo, custom designed hardshell case and a special book containing a numbered certificate and exclusive Final Fantasy XIV illustration card made by Square Enix.
